Ps.106
106:3 "...How blessed are those who keep justice, Who practice righteousness at all times!..."
It's a full time job!
106:13 "...They quickly forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel, But craved intensely in the wilderness, And tempted God in the desert..."
We must remember, wait, and not crave!
The downhill trajectory:
106:16,17 Failure to submit to leadership.
106:20 Replace God worship with something else.
106:24,25 Failure to believe leads to grumbling and not listening.
106:35,36 Mingling with the nations, learning their ways, getting trapped.
106:43 Sank down in their iniquity.
106:47 "...Save us, O Lord our God, And gather us from among the nations, To give thanks to Your holy name And glory in Your praise..."
BOOK DIVISION!
Ps.107 The Word
107:10,11 "...There were those who dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, Because they had rebelled against the words of God And spurned the counsel of the Most High..."
Why the darkness, misery and chains? [Rebellion against God's words. We must submit to the authority of the Word]
107:20 "...He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions..."
The rest of the Psalm talks of God's control over the sea and the land.
Ps.108
108:12,13 "...Oh give us help against the adversary, For deliverance by man is in vain. Through God we will do valiantly, And it is He who shall tread down our adversaries..."
Ps.109
109:3 "...They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without cause..."
Complaints about the wicked, but...
109:21,22 "...But You, O God, the Lord, deal kindly with me for Your name's sake; Because Your lovingkindness is good, deliver me; For I am afflicted and needy, And my heart is wounded within me..."
We live in the tension, between the kindness of God and the hatred of man.

Delight leads to study of His works, leads to doing, leads to understanding.
Ps.112
112:1 "...Praise the Lord! How blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who greatly delights in His commandments..."
Do we?
112:5 "...It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment..."

115:13 "...He will bless those who fear the Lord, The small together with the great..."
115:16 "...The heavens are the heavens of the Lord, But the earth He has given to the sons of men..."
What do you think?
Ps.116
116:2 "...Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live..."
116:15 "...Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His godly ones..." Not accidental and not unnoticed.
Ps.117 Shortest Psalm

Ps.118
118:6 "...The Lord is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?..."
Do we believe this?
118:8,9 "...It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in the Lord Than to trust in princes..."
118:14 "...The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation..."
118:22 "...The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone..." Messianic Matt.21:42
