G3:6-13 Perspective change, fear, blame shifting.
Do we elevate our own knowledge acquisition over obedience?
What part of the original plan changed?
G3:22-23 “...Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever" - therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden...”

Why must we be careful with genealogies?
1 Timothy 1:3-4 “...not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to ... endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation...”
G6: Dealing with the corruption of mankind.
What grieved God’s heart?
G6:4 “... the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them...”
G6:5 “...the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually...”
Why the flood?
God created with intentions and expectations. He intervened when man’s evil intent reached ‘continual’ status. When man lives for man, without God, chaos is always created. Conversely, the presence of God always brings order.
Did the flood bring order. Do you see order or chaos in the world today?

G13:9-11 Abram let Lot pick what looked to be the best location.
Why was it okay to allow Lot to choose?
God’s favor was on Abram. What looks best isn’t always best.
Abram ended up with the promised land without self promotion.
Do you have to manage your future?
How long will the land belong to Abram’s descendants?
G13:15 “...for all the land which you see, I will give it to you and to your descendants forever...”
